Man Claims He Rescued Woman, 10-Year-Old Boy From Rushing Wash In Irvine

IRVINE (CBSLA.com) A man called his family Saturday evening to say he rescued a woman and a 10-year-old boy from a raging wash.
The man's family called 911.
When authorities arrived, they found the man but no sign of the people he reportedly saved.
The man was reportedly soaking wet.
He said the woman and the boy went their separate ways and walked off after the rescue.
The search for the woman and boy has been suspended, officials said.
