Magnitude-4.1 Aftershock Rattles Rowland Heights

ROWLAND HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude-4.1 aftershock centered near Rowland Heights has struck, the U.S. Geological Survey said Saturday.

The quake struck about 2:32 p.m. and was centered one mile southeast of Rowland Heights and 3 miles north-northeast of Brea, according to the USGS.

The temblor was felt in Chino Hills, Montebello, Pico Rivera, Palmdale, El Monte, Huntington Beach, and Inglewood, according to viewer responses on CBSLA's official Facebook page.

Although initially reported as a 4.5-magnitude aftershock, the USGS downgraded those reports to 4.1.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
