Magic Johnson Tweets Out Week-Old Halftime Score To Lakers-Clippers Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — It's a game most Laker fans would rather forget - most, it seems, except for Earvin "Magic" Johnson.
The Los Angeles Lakers great posted the halftime score to a Lakers-Clippers game from Jan. 7 around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday - nearly one week after the game was in the books.
The apparently scheduled tweet was among several messages posted to Johnson's account Tuesday morning, including a shout-out to the Ohio State Buckeyes for their 42-20 win over Oregon in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Johnson had several other tweets dated Jan. 7 about the Clippers match-up - which the Clippers ultimately won 114-89 for their ninth win in 10 games against the 16-time NBA champions - that were seen earlier in his Twitter timeline.
Reaction from Johnson's Twitter followers ranged from confusion to outright mockery.
