5 Women Accuse Louis C.K. Of Sexual Misconduct

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – Comedian Louis C.K. has been accused of sexual misconduct by five women in a piece that was published Thursday in the New York Times.

The accusers, all comedians, allege that C.K. either masturbated in front of them or asked them if he could. The alleged misconduct goes back to 2002. In one case, comedy duo Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov claim that C.K. invited them to his hotel room at a comedy festival in Colorado.

"He proceeded to take all of his clothes off, and get completely naked, and started masturbating," they told the Times.

The story also alleges that C.K.'s longtime manager, Dave Becky, may have possibly put pressure on the women to keep quiet about the incidents. Becky denied doing so.

C.K. and his publicist declined to comment for the story.

The premiere of C.K.'s new movie "I Love You, Daddy," along with his appearance on the "Late Show With Stephen Colbert," were canceled Thursday ahead of the Times story.

"I Love You, Daddy" distributor The Orchard canceled the New York Times premiere hours before it was set to take place Thursday evening at the Paris Theatre, Variety reported.

C.K.'s appearance on Colbert Thursday was also abruptly canceled. He was replaced by actor William H. Macy, who had been previously scheduled to appear on the show Friday.

The controversial "I Love You, Daddy," which C.K. wrote and directed, is about a 17-year-old girl, played by Chloë Grace Moretz, who falls for a 68-year-old filmmaker, played by John Malkovich. It also stars Helen Hunt, Charlie Day and C.K. himself.

Meanwhile, a third woman is now accusing actor Jeremy Piven of sexual misconduct. In a story posted Thursday, advertising executive Tiffany Bacon Scourby told People Magazine that Piven sexually assaulted her in October 2003 at the Trump Hotel in New York City. She joins reality star Ariane Bellamar and actress Cassidy Freeman in accusing Piven of criminal behavior.

Like C.K., a pre-taped Colbert show interview with Piven that was scheduled to air Friday, Nov. 3, was not broadcast because of the allegations.

Piven currently stars in the CBS show "Wisdom of the Crowd."
