Los Angeles Galaxy Announce 2015 Team Awards

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Galaxy have named the winners for their 2015 team awards.

Robbie Keane won the team's Most Valuable Player award after scoring 19 goals on the year, tying a career-high.

Keane now has 72 career MLS goals, and only two players have recorded more goals in their first 100 games than Keane has.

Leonardo was named the Galaxy's Defender of the Year after starting in a career-high 25 games this year for the team.

The Brazilian defender helped keep Galaxy opponents to just 16 goals at home this season.

The Golden Boot Award has not been announced yet.

The team will announce the winner after the Galaxy's match on Sunday against Sporting Kansas City.

Robbie Keane leads the team with 19 goals. while midfielder Sebastian Lletget is second on the squad with seven goals.
