Woman Critically Injured In Long Beach Shooting
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday investigated a double shooting that occurred in Long Beach.
The incident was reported just before 1 a.m. at Del Amo Boulevard and Locust Avenue, according to police.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported a woman to a nearby hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to her upper body.
Hospital officials say she remains listed in critical condition at this time.
A man was also transported for treatment of a wound to his hand. He remains listed in stable condition.
The relationship between the victims was not immediately known.
Detectives have not released a description of the gunman.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
