Missing 13-year-old girl from Long Beach safely located in Tennessee

Long Beach Police Department successfully located a missing 13-year-old girl who was last seen April 11 in Memphis Tennessee on Friday.

Ana Gabriela Alvarado, 13, was last seen on April 11 at around 10:30 p.m., walking away from her home on Almond Court. 

According to a statement from LBPD, detectives with their Missing Persons Detail were able to locate undisclosed evidence that pointed Alvarado's whereabouts to Tennessee, where they began working with Memphis law enforcement. 

At approximately 9:20 p.m. (on Thursday), and while coordinating with the LBPD, detectives from the Memphis Police Department
located Ana inside a residence in the 3200 block of Innsbruck Lane. Ana appeared physically unharmed," the statement continued to note.

Authorities will now work to reunite Alvarado with her family in Long Beach and "all facts of this case will be examined by LBPD detectives who will ultimately determine if a crime occurred and take appropriate action."

She is listed as 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs around 160 pounds. She has burgundy colored hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants with a pink stripe, a gray sweater and red and white Nike high top shoes. She was also wearing a black backpack. 

Alvarado also has a one-inch scar on her lower back and a mole on her left foot.
