Lightning Strikes Near LA County Sheriff's Helicopter Over Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Lightning reportedly struck near an Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department helicopter Sunday over Santa Clarita.

The pilot made a precautionary landing around 3:30 p.m. at William S. Hart High School, located 24825 North Newhall Avenue, in Newhall, the LASD reported.

No one was injured.
