Driver Hospitalized After Crashing Vehicle Into Pillar At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Traffic on the departure level of Los Angeles International Airport was slowed Monday after a motorist crashed into a pillar.

The crash took place around 2:30 a.m. near the Tom Bradley International Terminal, airport police said.

Paramedics transported the driver of the vehicle to a hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
