LASD homicide investigating fatal shooting of Compton man
A man was fatally shot in Compton Friday night.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were dispatched to the scene on Caldwell Street and Chester Avenue at around 7:10 p.m.
When they arrived, they found the victim, a male, approximately 25-years-old, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities did not provide any further information on the incident, including details on the suspect.
