LAPD Motor Officer Injured In Mid-Wilshire Crash

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles Police Department motor officer was injured Wednesday in a crash in the Mid-Wilshire area.

The accident, which involved a Toyota Prius, occurred shortly before 9 a.m. near Tremaine Avenue and Pico Boulevard, according to police.

The officer with the LAPD West Valley Traffic Division was transported to Cedar-Sinai Medical with unknown injuries.

Authorities explained the driver of the Prius stayed at the scene.
