LAPD Investigating Death Of Infant In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Wednesday said an infant died overnight at a South LA apartment complex.
Authorities were called to the 200 block of E. 97th Street at 3:41 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The 1-month-old was declared dead at the scene.
Police said the child's mother woke up in the middle of the night and found that her daughter was unresponsive.
No arrests were made and the girl's death was deemed not criminal in nature.
The child's cause of death remains unknown.
