Reckless Driving Suspect Arrested After Wild Pursuit In South LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A reckless driving suspect was taken into custody early Wednesday morning after a pursuit in South Los Angeles.
The chase began around 5:40 a.m. on Avalon and 11th streets, according to LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado.
The driver was seen traveling with speeds of up to 60 mph on surface streets while running through stop signs and red lights.
The suspect exited the vehicle on 77th Street west of Figueroa just before 6:05 a.m. and ran a short distance before surrendering to officers.
