All lanes of northbound I-5 Freeway in Lincoln Heights blocked for tanker fire

Three lanes of the northbound I-5 Freeway in Lincoln Heights were blocked at Humboldt Street after a tanker vehicle caught fire Tuesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig Alert as crews worked to clear the roadway.

The sigalert was canceled at 8:40 a.m., according to the CHP.

It is unclear how the crash took place.
