Lakers Forward Larry Nance Jr. Suffers Sprained Hand During Summer League Game
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. suffered a sprained wrist during Thursday night's NBA Summer League game against the Cavaliers.
Nance was attempting a shot and landed awkwardly after coming down to the floor.
He was then immediately taken back to locker room for further examination, accompanied by Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak.
The results on the first x-rays were "inconclusive", the team said, but Nance reportedly told Lakers rookie Ivica Zubac that his hand/wrist was "broken".
Nance had an MRI on Friday, which revealed there was no fracture or ligament damage to his hand.
