LA Man, 26, Suspected Of Robbing 7 Stores In A Day
GARDENA (CBSLA.com) — A Los Angeles man is suspected of robbing eight stores—seven in one day, Gardena police said Thursday.
James Mack, 26, was arrested after allegedly ripping off five Subway shops in Hawthorne, Gardena and Los Angeles, a Little Caesars Pizza in Gardena and a 7-Eleven in Hawthorne on Tuesday, Gardena police Lt. Steve Prendergast said.
In addition, Mack reportedly robbed a Subway in Hawthorne last week.
Authorities were able to identify Mack with the help of witnesses and linked his vehicle, a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, to the incidents.
The suspect is being held in lieu of $120,000. He's due in court Friday.
