Bryant Leads All Players In NBA All-Star Game Voting

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Kobe Bryant leads all NBA players in All-Star Game voting, according to a tally released Thursday by the NBA.

Bryant has amassed 1,262,118 votes and is on pace for his 18th All-Star game. He leads the runner-up, Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry, who has 925,789 votes.

Lebron James, on pace for his 12th All-Star game in 13 seasons, leads the Eastern Conference with 636,388 votes.

Behind Curry, Oklahoma City Thunder guard and former UCLA star Russell Westbrook has the most votes for a Western Conference backcourt player, with 479,512 votes.

Bryant and the Thunder's Kevin Durant (616,096 votes) are leading the West's frontcourt voting. The Warriors' Draymond Green is in third place with 332,223 votes.

The 65th NBA All-Star Game tips off Sunday, Feb. 14 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. TNT will televise the game in the U.S.

The next balloting update for All-Star voting will be shared on Jan. 14. Voting concludes Jan. 18.

Starters will be announced live on TNT on Thursday, Jan. 21. at 4 p.m. PST.
