Kobe Bryant To Miss 3rd Straight Game

DALLAS (CBSLA.com) - It's official.

Byron Scott announced before the game against the Dallas Mavericks that Kobe Bryant will miss his third straight game without any significant injury.

Bryant told reporters Thursday that he needs time to rest to help him recover his aching/sore body.

"I just need to kind of hit the reset button," said Bryant. "What happens is my body realizes how messed up it is. Then everything starts hurting. It's an opportunity to treat everything."

Lakers are 1-1 in the last two games without Bryant.
