Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 29)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — First off, there is no such thing as "earthquake weather." Now that we got that out of the way ... here's your forecast:

We are looking at a couple of late season systems headed our way.

However, the rain chances with these systems are going to be varied. There are three systems in our future ... and right now, there is only one that looks like it will impact the Los Angeles Metro-area.

The first system hits overnight tonight and early tomorrow.

The cold front will sweep through early tomorrow ... but it quickly falls apart as it treks through the area.

There is a good chance for some steady rainfall along the central coast.

We may pick up a little drizzle south of Ventura County. Then we will see clearing through Sunday.

So your Sunday will definitely not be a wash-out. The next system moves in late Monday and Tuesday. This has the potential to bring a little more rainfall. Not major totals ... but it should be scattered and there could even be enough lift as the low moves through to give us a thunderstorm or two. Then we dry up later Wednesday.

There is another possible system on Thursday ... but that one looks pretty dry.

Basin - upper 60s to low 70s;
Beaches - mid to upper 60s;
Valleys - low 70s;
Deserts - low 70s;
Mountains - upper 40s.
