STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — A strong on-shore flow with the weakening high pressure is helping to bring temperatures down for the next few days.
With the thickened marine layer, there may even be a little spotty morning drizzle. Even inland valleys will be down a bit.
Look for clearing Wednesday afternoon, with hazy sunshine. All in all it should be mild for the Southland for the rest of the week.
Next week there's a monster ridge of high pressure that will expand to the southwest. If it builds in, there could be some very warm temperatures inland. Valleys will exceed 100 degrees easily.
The only problem is a trough that is digging in from the Pacific Northwest is going to keep the high pressure in check, so we'll see what happens.
