STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — There's cloudy skies high above but an off-shore flow here at the ground. That will translate into another day with temperatures well above average.
A trough is digging into the area and an upper level low will open up Friday, so look for a temperature drop then along with the possibility of some rain.
Then over the weekend, the off-shore flow returns and temperatures open up again back into the mid to upper 70s. It should be a great Super Bowl weekend.
Next week things will remain dry. Certainly this is concerning as we are supposed to be in the wettest time of year...and clearly we are not picking up the rainfall we need.
