Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Jan. 20)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — There's some coastal dense fog Tuesday morning. The shallow marine layer is being driven by a coastal eddy circulation.

While the low clouds will lift, expect mostly cloudy skies throughout the day as a disturbance pushes through the area. Temperatures will be down a few degrees as well topping out in the upper 60s to low 70s.

Wednesday morning there will be some low clouds again; however, by the end of the day an off-shore flow will develop.

It will come from a surface high in the Great Basin as well as a ridge of high pressure in the upper levels. This will all translate into a warm few days.

Look for highs by Thursday into the upper 70s, and then over the weekend we will be into the 80s. It's a warm weekend on tap.

On Monday and Tuesday the models diverge — there is the very slight chance that showers could push up from the south, but we will have to wait and see.
