STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Friday afternoon will be unsettling again; however there is only a very slight chance for a shower in the foothills.
In fact, expect to see some sunshine in the afternoon just as Thursday. There are two more waves of energy moving through the area in the next 36 hours.
Ahead of the second low pressure center that is diving in for Saturday will be some dangerous winds for the high desert.
A high wind watch has been issued for the Antelope Valley. There are widespread wind advisories for desert and mountain locations.
There is one more slight chance for a shower Saturday as that low moves through.
Temperatures will remain below average through then; however things do shift on Sunday as warmer weather kicks in.
It's going to be very warm next week with inland temperatures bordering 90 degrees.
