'Jeopardy' Contestant Tricks Host Alex Trebek Into Saying Turd Ferguson
A contestant on "Jeopardy" may not have known the correct answer to a final question but her response sure won the applause of "Saturday Night Live" fans on social media.
During a "Final Jeopardy" round, contestants were asked to name the "song from a 1999 animated film about censorship [that] had a word censored from its Oscar performance."
A woman named Talia gave an answer that may have been one of the best practical jokes ever played on TV. She wrote, "What is the love ballad of Turd Ferguson?" referencing the Celebrity Jeopardy skit on "SNL," before giving a thumbs up and a smile to the camera.
In the classic skit, Will Ferrell plays Trebek and Norm Macdonald poses as Burt Reynolds, whose character insists on calling himself "Turd Ferguson" because "it's a funny name."
Talia sacrificed $600 of her winnings to make the joke but she walked away with a whole slew of fans online.
