Inland Empire shaken by 3.2 earthquake in Fontana

A 3.2 magnitude earthquake shook the Inland Empire on Saturday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey. 

The quake, which was centered a little over three and a half miles southwest of Fontana, happened at around 4:11 p.m, the USGS said. They reported that it occurred at a geological depth of around nine miles. 

There have not yet been any reports of damage or injury as a result of the earthquake. 

People living throughout the Southern California reported feeling the brief shaking, spanning from La Verne to Rancho Mirage, according to the USGS' Did You Feel It? report. 

This is the second 3.2 magnitude quake to affect the region in just several hours, after the Malibu coastline was hit with seismic activity for the second consecutive weekend.
