Inflate Your Heart: Uber Is Delivering Adoptable Puppies On Demand To LA Offices
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The biggest event in canine sports history is just days away and a popular app wants you to be "uber" prepared!
Rideshare company Uber has teamed up with the Animal Planet to deliver adoptable puppies Wednesday to animal lovers in Los Angeles in preparation for this weekend's Puppy Bowl XI.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., users can request the "PUPPIES" option in the app to have fuzzy friends stop by their office buildings.
For just $30, the dogs will be available to play with for 15 minutes before they will have to move on to the next location, but if you just can't part ways, each one is eligible for adoption.
"If you're lucky enough to request puppies to your office, please make sure your boss or building is going to be cool with the woofs and that no one in the area is allergic," Uber officials said in a statement. "Also, having a dedicated room for puppy playtime is preferred."
#UberPuppyBowl will also be available to users in Atlanta, Baltimore, Cleveland, Dallas, Washington, D.C., Denver, Indianapolis, Phoenix and Seattle.
The company emphasizes the puppies will be in high demand and availability will be limited.
Puppy Bowl XI will air Sunday at 3 p.m. on Animal Planet.
