Huntington Beach Police On Hunt For Bank Robber

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com)  —  Police in Huntington Beach are on the hunt for a suspect they said robbed a bank Saturday afternoon.

The unidentified man, described as Caucasian and approximately 50 years of age, walked into a US Bank branch located at 7211 Warner Avenue just before 1 p.m.

The man presented a note to a teller demanding cash, officials said. The man fled the premises with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as being between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and between 190-200 pounds. He was unshaven, wore prescription glasses, a dark baseball hat and was in a light-colored long-sleeve dress shirt and dark pants.

The man was last seen on foot.

Police are not releasing photos or video of the man during the initial stages of their investigation.
