Homicide Detectives Investigate Death Of Man In La Puente

LA PUENTE (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives on Thursday investigated the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in La Puente.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, deputies were sent around 3:20 a.m. to the 14900 block of Janetdale Street for report of a "person down" call.
Upon their arrival, authorities located an adult man lying in a dirt lot suffering from blunt force trauma.
He was dead at the scene.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
No suspect description has been provided.
The investigation is ongoing.
