Holmby Hills Mansion Sells For Record $102M

HOLMBY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A westside estate in Holmby Hills has sold for a record $102 million.

The price for the 50,000-square-foot home is the highest ever recorded in L.A. County.

The five-acre estate is 12-years-old and includes a dozen bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, tennis courts, a ballroom and a 3,000-square-foot wine cellar, as well as a 3,000-square-foot home for the property manager.

The buyer paid cash but has not been identified.

The national record for a home purchase is $117 million for mansion in Woodside. That Northern California home was purchased just last year.
