Brush Fire Near Big Bear Lake Grows To 850 Acres
BIG BEAR LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters are on the scene of a fast-spreading brush fire northeast of Big Bear Lake.
Big Bear Fire Department officials reported a blaze at Holcomb Valley Rd. and No Shore Dr. at 3:05 Monday.
The Holcomb Fire had grown to 850 acres by 6 p.m. and was moving through Holcomb Valley toward the desert, officials said.
CBS2/KCAL9's Crystal Cruz reports one firefighter suffered a heat-related injury.

Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) at Hwy 18 to Van Dusen Road
Campground Closures:
Doble Trail Campground
Tanglewood Group Campground
The agency reported zero percent containment shortly before 11 p.m.
Big Bear Lake endured record-setting heat Monday, reaching 89 degrees.
