Hill, Young Lead Lakers Over Magic, 103-94

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Jordan Hill had another tremendous evening and Nick Young provided plenty of muscle off the bench as the Lakers beat the Orlando Magic 103-94 in Los Angeles on Monday night.

The win snaps a four-game losing streak for Los Angeles.

Hill's double-double included a contribution of 28 points, 13 rebounds (nine of which were defensive) and was 9-for-15 overall from the field, giving him another career night.

Nick Young provided 26 points off the bench, though his shooting dipped to 8-for-17, making two of four three pointers.

Victor Oladipo was the only Magic player to score in the 20's, with 21 points and 10 assists.

Despite the lack of offensive power, Orlando was able to keep the game within reach, up until the end of the fourth quarter, through superior rebounding (46 to 34).

However, 18 turnovers, in addition to the offensive nights from Hill and Young, were enough to allow the Lakers to pull away.

It is the first win for the Lakers since a surprise upset over Oklahoma City on March 9, in which the Lakers beat the Thunder 114-110. In that game, Jodie Meeks had 42 points.
