High-Speed Chase Ends With Sheared Fire Hydrant In Anaheim
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A wild chase ended in Anaheim night with a torrent of water shooting hundreds of foot in the air.
Officers tried to pull over the driver at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday, but he instead took off at speeds up to 70 miles per hour.
The suspected drunken driver hit a hydrant in front of a home on West Sycamore Street, near Pearson Park, according to Anaheim police.
The suspect's vehicle then careened into a fence and trees.
