Heart-Stealing Budweiser Super Bowl Commercial Filmed In Thousand Oaks

THOUSAND OAKS (CBSLA.com) — One of the commercials already stealing hearts online before it airs nationally during the Super Bowl is Budweiser's "Puppy Love," which was filmed over three days at ranches in Thousand Oaks.

The commercial, which had been viewed nearly 3 million times by Wednesday afternoon, follows a labrador retriever puppy and a Clydesdale horse who become friends and refuse to be separated when it comes time for the puppy to be adopted.

The commercial was director by Jake Scott and required 17 Clydesdale horses and eight 10-week-old puppies, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Don Jeanes returns as the Clydesdale horse trainer in this year's commercial, which is a follow up to Budweiser's "Brotherhood."
