Head-On Crash Closes Part Of Laurel Canyon Boulevard
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A head-on crash between a Jaguar and a Mercedes closed part of Laurel Canyon Boulevard Friday evening, authorities said.
Stu Mundel, reporting in Sky2, said the crash occurred just south of Mullholland Drive.
He said LAPD and LA City Fire both responded to the scene.
One person had to be extricated using the Jaws of Life, officials said.
Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital.
The conditions of both drivers was unclear. Neither car is believed to have had passengers.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
