Shooting Investigation Underway In Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A shooting investigation was underway Wednesday in Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, gunfire erupted shortly before 3:00 a.m. in the intersection of Cahuenga and Hollywood boulevards.
Upon their arrival, paramedics transported one person to a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg. An update on the victim's condition was not immediately available.
Officials shut down the intersection for a brief period while officers searched for two suspects. No suspect descriptions have been provided.
At this time, all lanes on Hollywood Boulevard have reopened except for one eastbound lane.
The investigation is ongoing.
