Gunman flees deadly San Pedro shooting on bicycle, police say

Police are searching for the alleged shooter who killed a man in San Pedro on Saturday and fled the scene on a bicycle. 

The shooting happened at about 9:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of S. Pacific Avenue, according to Los Angeles Police Department investigators. 

Circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, but police arrived to find the victim, only identified as a 48-year-old man, dead from a gunshot wound. 

Detectives did not have any description of a suspect other than that the fled the are while riding a bicycle and was last seen near 18th Street and Grand Avenue.
