Founded in 2010 by chef-owner Jeff Cerciello to highlight the bounty of growers and food artisans, Farmshop is by far one of the best dining experiences in the city. As one of the larger draws at The Brentwood Country Mart, Farmshop can best be described as part restaurant, and part market. Upon walking in, you will be greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere where diners can snack on anything from brunch menu selections, lunch items, or dinner menu options. Offering delicious food regardless of whether you come for brunch or dinner, you can't go wrong. Brunch means unique egg dishes, or American-style selections with potatoes, bacon and more, while lunch and dinner items include selections like a prime beef calotte steak salad, cured meats, herb roasted Jidori chicken and much more. You can also pick up a bevy of items at the artisanal market, including artisanal cheese, chocolates, wine, beer and much more.

Serving the best rotisserie chicken, french fries and more, Reddi Chick BBQ is one of the most popular eateries at the Country Mart. Operated by Steve and Carol Salita since the late 70's, chicken and fries are served in an old-school basket, and can be enjoyed in the open air courtyard. With its first store opening in San Francisco, Hudson | Grace has grown over the years and its Brentwood outpost is a must visit. With everything from vintage silverware and flatware to a beautiful array of flowers when you first walk in, wreaths for the holidays and more, it's a beautiful store you won't want to pass by.

Self-described connoisseurs of correspondence, Chelsea Shukov and Jamie Grobecker, co-founders of the letterpress printing and paper boutique Sugar Paper, have a love affair with personal stationery and the lasting impression it leaves. Offering some of the most unique cards and gifts all year 'round, Sugar Paper is undoubtedly one of the best stationary stores in Los Angeles. Located near Farmshop and Hudson | Grace, Sugar Paper is a small and charming stationary store. While some cards here can be a little pricier than some, the quality, and the artistic flare of each card is more than worth it. In addition to well executed and tasteful cards, Sugar Paper also offers gift tags, gift wrapping services and other gifts like coin holders, notepads, calendars and more. Sugar Paper offers single cards, as well as sets of cards for all your seasonal needs.

Other great finds include the Mart Barber Shop, where for 40 years they have been servicing men, women and children young and old in an old school barbershop. It's the perfect place on the westside to get your hair cut. Or, need to ship something? Stop by the U.S. Post Office, which is very unlike most that you're used to. This location sits in a charming space within the Country Mart, and opened in 1948. For more than 50 years, the amazing space has offered services for local residents.
