Tickets & Pricing

Tickets are required for guests aged 3 and over, and because space is limited, make sure to reserve ahead of time! Your ticket lets you enjoy Disneyland Park for up to 3 hours before Mickey's Halloween party officially starts. Then, when the festivities begin, enjoy Halloween activities, including Halloween themed attractions, character greetings, a fantastic and one-of-a-kind fireworks spectacular and their all new ride, the Headless Horseman.

Attractions & Events

There are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained this year! Begin your Halloween experience at Disneyland on Main Street, USA. There, you'll find the site of the "Pumpkin Festival", where hundreds of pumpkins are on display and the 12-foot-high Mickey jack-o-lantern will greet you with its smile. How many pumpkins can you count?

Halloween Screams Fireworks - For Halloween, Disneyland offers an amazing fireworks pyrotechnic display! Bone-ratting booms and haunting Halloween tunes will make Mickey's Halloween party fireworks show one that you'll remember for a lifetime. Lighting up the night sky, you'll be in for a real treat. The best place to view them is near the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The night kicks off with an eerie greeting from your "Master of Scare-omonies" Jack Skellington and his ghostly dog Zero—spirits from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Frightfully Fun Parade - It wouldn't be a Disneyland event without a parade. And, for Halloween, they'll be pulling out all the stops. Prepare yourself for thrills and chills during the parade when this incredible parade takes over the streets of Disneyland! The Frightfully Fun Parade will take place at Disneyland Park and is hosted over 17 nights from September 23 to October 31, 2016. Presented exclusively during Mickey's Halloween Party, the Frightfully Fun Parade is exclusively available to Guests attending Mickey's Halloween Party and takes place on select nights during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

Ride of the Headless Horseman - New this year will be a black stallion horse which will trot through the heart of the theme park with a headless rider at the reins. The Headless Horseman will rise from the depths of Sleepy Hollow to delight guests on Main Street, U.S.A. This eerie Halloween attraction holds a jack-o-lantern to guide his way. The Ride of the Headless Horseman is exclusive to those guests attending Mickey's Halloween Party only, and will take place on select nights during Halloween time at the Resort. A special ticket is required for this special event.

Trick or Treat Stations - Perfect for guests of all ages, this fun tradition allows visitors to grab confections and goodies, including wrapped candy and snacks. Available on select nights in September and October as part of the special Mickey's Halloween Party, trick-or-treating is a tradition that is safe and fun for all. At the start of the Halloween Party, guests are handed a small souvenir treat bag to collect candy. Once you're in the park, use a special map and follow the Treat Trails to find the stations!

Tomorrowland - Be one with the force this Halloween! There will be a special performance of Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, which will be held each night of Mickey's Halloween Party. Kids ages 4 to 12 can sign-up to be included. The event starts at 5pm at the kiosk outside Star Wars Launch Bay in Tomorrowland (separate party admission required).

Cadaver Dan's Ghoul Quartet - You're invited to be a part of this scary bash! Back again this year, Disneyland Park will welcome Cadaver Dans to Mickey's Halloween Party starting September 23. Tap along to the spooky tunes from the Cadaver Dan's Ghoul Quartet. Listen for them on your way to The Haunted Mansion. They will be floating on a raft along the Rivers of America.

Villains Square - We all love to hate Disney Villains. If you have a soft spot for the bad guys then get in line at Villains Square (Town Square), on Main Street, U.S.A where you'll get the chance to pose for a photo opportunity with many of Disney's scariest villains. Villains Square is exclusively for Guests attending Mickey's Halloween Party, taking place on select nights during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

Haunted Mansion - As one of the more popular attractions throughout the year, The Haunted Mansion will have a makeover inspired by Time Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas through January 8, 2017. Come see the Mansion at its eeriest with many frightfully festive additions - courtesy of Jack Skellington. The Mansion will be transformed with jack-o-lanterns, terrifying and kooky additions and much more! Ghouls, ghosts and other scary touches will be on hand!

Food

When you're visiting Disneyland, you know you can expect a lot. When it comes to their Halloween party, you won't be disappointed. Trick or treat trails are located throughout the park and offer sweet and delicious finds along with healthy treats. But, don't let the long lines scare you, the staff knows how to keep the guests moving at a steady and safe pace. Halloween here is all about indulging (in moderation of course), and Disneyland offers a wide selection of specially-designed Halloween and fall-themed treats including yummy pumpkin beignets, sweet candy apples, tasty cookies, as well as an enticing cupcake, which are just a few of the offerings. There really is something for everyone to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Additional Options

Want to dine on something more substantial than candy? The Blue Bayou Restaurant is a staple of the Disneyland Resort and you can enjoy Canju and Creole cuisine at one of the park's most popular eateries. They'll even be offering Mickey's Halloween Party Dinner Package with a 3-course prix-fixe feast where you can easily watch as the Frightfully Fun Parade strolls by. Reservations are highly recommended. Find out more information about menu items, and more here.

Costumes

Everyone is encouraged to dress as their favorite Disney and non-Disney character. But, before you start on your idea, the Park has some guidelines to follow. While they always encourage creativity, they also value safety and judgement when coming up with your best costume! Costumes must be:

  • Family friendly
  • Non-offensive
  • Guests who dress like Disney characters cannot pose for pictures or sign autographs for other guests
  • Costumes cannot contain any indication of weaponry
  • Disneyland asks that costumes should not have sharp objects
  • Costumes that surround the entire body are discouraged
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses).

Where To Stay

Why not turn Mickey's Halloween Party into a staycation? There are three hotels to choose from at Disneyland Resort including Disneyland Hotel, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, which each offer their own unique style and architecture as well as accommodations. Disney's Grand Californian is the only resort hotel located inside a theme park so if you are looking for quick access to the park then this beautiful property is for you. The other two hotels are within steps from both theme parks as well as Downtown Disney. Regardless of which one you choose, all three offer first class dining, facilities and service, so you really can't go wrong! Visit www.disneyland.com‎ for pricing or to find a Disney-approved hotel nearby.

What's even cooler is their "Spooktacular In-Room Surprises," where they bring the magic of Halloween right into your Disneyland Resort hotel room with in room spooky decor and surprises.
