Goodwill says the weeks leading up to Halloween are generally rewarding, but this year, it will be like Christmas.
"We're going to see probably close to quarter of a million transactions just in October alone," Goodwill President and CEO Frank Talarico Jr. said.
90 cents of every dollar brought in at Goodwill is spent on people facing barriers to help them get jobs and excel.
"They've helped me a lot to grow as a person, and have made me feel more independent and I don't feel like I have to depend on people for things," Goodwill employee Jennifer Lane said.
Most Goodwill locations are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
