Fresh & Easy To Liquidate Remaining Stores

EL SEGUNDO (CBSLA.com) — The Fresh & Easy experiment is done.

The El-Segundo-based chain said Wednesday it would liquidate all its stores in the coming weeks, with some set to close and others to be sold, according to the Orange County Register.

In March, the chain announced the closure of 50 locations, including 30 in Southern California. Fresh & Easy operated in California, Nevada and Arizona and at its peak had as many as 200 stores.
