Ex-LAUSD Teacher Sentenced To Life In Prison Without Parole For Murdering Wife

VAN NUYS (CBSLA.com) — A former Los Angeles Unified School District elementary school teacher was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison without the possibly of parole for the murder of his estranged wife.

Michael Rodney Kane, 48, was arrested in 2013 and found guilty in March of first-degree murder for the stabbing death of his wife Michelle.

He attacked her in the street outside a West Hills home where she had taken refuge after filing a restraining order.
