1 Dead, 3 Wounded In South Los Angeles Shooting
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say one person has died and three others were wounded in a shooting in South Los Angeles.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 8800 block of Figueroa Street at approximately 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
When they arrived, they discovered four gunshot wound victims.
Of the victims, one person, described as a 26-year-old black male, died at the scene.
Two others were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.
The fourth victim was treated and released at the scene.
Police said the suspect, described as a black male, remained at large.
There may be a second suspect although a description was not provided.
A motive for the shooting remains unknown but gang homicide detectives are headed to the scene.
