Firefighters knock down brush fire in Hacienda Heights
A brush fire burned about an acre and a half of vegetation Friday in Hacienda Heights, but no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire erupted around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Turnbull Canyon Road and Las Lomitas Drive.
Fire crews reported that the spread of the fire had been halted around 5:10 p.m.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
