Fire tears through home in Newport Beach
Fire crews worked to contain a blaze that tore through a home in the Big Canyon area of Newport Beach Wednesday.

The fire erupted just after 4 p.m. at 2 Rue Villars, a city official said.
Video from the scene showed flames tearing through the large hilltop home.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. It was not immediately clear how the blaze started.
