Fire erupts in children's section of Buena Park Target

Shoppers had to evacuate a Target in Buena Park on Tuesday after a fire started inside the department store.

Smoke and flames started to billow from a rack in the children's clothing department around 7:15 p.m., according to the Orange County Fire Authority. The store's sprinkler system kept the fire at bay until a worker put out the flames with an extinguisher. 

It's unclear what started the blaze and investigators are looking into if it was arson.
