Fire damages Temecula business

Firefighters were able to contain a fire that broke out within a strip mall in Temecula to just one business on Wednesday. 

The blaze was first reported a little before 3 p.m. at the Palomar Village shopping center, located in the 30600 block of Rancho California Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. 

Crews say that they were dispatched after learning of flames inside of the School of Rock, a business located within the strip mall. 

All of the occupants were evacuated while firefighters worked to prevent the flames from spreading to surrounding businesses. 

They completely extinguished the fire by 3:20 p.m. and remained on scene for several hours after to mop up. 

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. 

No injuries were reported.
