Fire Damages Strip Mall In Anaheim, Investigators Believe Code Violations To Blame

ANAHEIM (CBSLA) — Fire officials in Anaheim believe unspecified code violations, possibly connected to an illegal marijuana growing operation, could be to blame for a Monday night fire at a strip mall.

The fire was first reported around 10 p.m. in the 800 block of Euclid Street, south of La Palma Avenue.

Flames from one business quickly spread to at least four other units, causing a roof to collapse.

It took 75 firefighters about three hours to put the fire out.

There were no injuries reported.
