Fire Damages South LA Ice Cream Shop
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A fire damaged a restaurant in South Los Angeles Thursday morning.
The fire was reported in the attic of Gwen's Ice Cream around 1:30 a.m. in the 7600 block of South Western Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly, however, the business sustained major damage.
No injuries were reported.
Arson investigators were trying to determine the cause of the fire.
