Man Found Shot To Death In Florence Parking Lot

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A man was shot to death just before midnight in a parking lot in Florence.
The shooting happened near the intersection of East Firestone Boulevard and Beach Street.
Detectives say the fatally wounded man tried to run off after being shot, and collapsed and died, leaving behind a trail of blood.
The area remains closed for the fatal shooting investigation.
