Hundreds Of Fans Wait In Line All Night At The Grove To Meet Bruce Springsteen
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Thousands of die-hard fans lined up at The Grove for a chance to meet The Boss Monday.
They camped out overnight, forming a long line that wrapped around the block outside Barnes and Noble. Bruce Springsteen was there to promote his new autobiography called "Born To Run."
"I'm a fan. My dad has always been a fan. So I've been a fan since I was four," one woman waiting in line said.
"Is this actually happening after all these years? It's hard to believe," Jill Weinstein said. "But he was just as kind and sweet and down to earth. His music is just something that touches you. It means a million different things, but it's unique to every single person."
Some fans took to social media to share their once-in-a-lifetime experience with the 67-year-old New Jersey native.

Fans were allowed to begin lining up at 4 a.m. But some said they showed up days ago to get a spot in line and said the wait was worth it for a chance to thank their hero for the days he uplifted, consoled, inspired and moved them.
"There's a Bruce for every moment in your life. If you're in a sad spot, he's got a song for that," Adam Schreiner said if you're happy, Springsteen also has a song to help celebrate your happiness.
It was unclear exactly how many people showed up for the event. But Barnes & Noble officials capped the line at about 1,150 people.
That was roughly the number of copies of the book that were available for signing by The Boss, the book store said.
